This morning i found - Zoot Suit riot by Cherry popping daddys!  I found my slef literally dancing to work (all be it subtle) but it was good.

It occurred to me today - that in a 2 week period I’ve read 2 entire books, and am 1/4 way through the next one, while also reading a compilation of short stories book...

I've found a new favourite Author.

This is quite a miracle for me....a person who's only read about 10 novels since leaving school 12 years ago.

I’ve got the flu – sick. *cough* eww… Basically means I’ve not been sleeping so well... So I’ve been having odd dreams.

Dreams about old friends in Australia – that aren’t friends anymore…. I’m not sure why I randomly had such a vivid and detailed dream about them all – maybe it was because I had been talking to andre_janus before bed. But I will always dream a dream like I did last night about these people… because of the way in which we drifted apart – The reason we drifted is still so unclear… there was no closure… and I think of them all often. I only wish they knew I did. 
They were such a big, and important part of my life, and i miss them. It's left an empty feeling for me , that i'm not sure will ever go away.

It was a nice dream.

The big question that hangs over my head was answered.

And we laughed together again.

Friday night - a dream come true - To see the heavies in concert!!

Thursday I was reading the paper on the tube going home, and it has a gig guide - I noticed that TBNH were playing a one night concert only at the barbican..... So after investigation on line it was all sold out!! NOOO!

Bec and I decided Friday after work we would just rock up to the barbican centre, and try and get tickets.... my gorgeous bec had researched and found that you can get return tickets, if you queue up at the venue... so we did..and ..WE GOT IN!!


OMG... it was so amazing! I loved every minute.... I wished they'd played more from the shelter c.d..... but they did my favourite song, (which made me cry) 


YAY for random Gigs on a Friday night!
